What DABLOCK will not sell, and the one thing it asks of you for free
Answer. Nothing on DABLOCK is for sale. No brand can pay to enter the index, to move inside it, to be left out of it, or to change the wording around its own number — there is no price for any of that and no version of this site where there is. The measurement is free to read and free to reuse under CC BY 4.0. What we do ask is free too: if you run one of the 24 brands we cover, claim your profile and tell us what we got wrong. Corrections cost nothing and are never a purchase.

The firewall, stated first because it is the whole product
An index is worth exactly as much as the belief that it cannot be
bought. The moment a score has a price, the dataset stops being a measurement and becomes a
price list — and both people and answer engines stop citing price lists. So the rule is
absolute, and it is easier to check than to trust: no payment ever touches a
published number. A client and a non-client are measured by identical code against
the identical prompt panel, and every record in the machine copy carries an
is_client flag so you can verify that yourself instead of taking our word.
Things we turn down: paying to be added, paying to be removed, paying to change a number, paying to change the sentence around a number, and paying for a comparison to land a particular way. VECTORY, which publishes this site, does sell measurement and advisory work — from its own domain, to its own clients, and with no path from that invoice to anything on this page.
Claim your profile — free, and it changes nothing about your score
We build every profile without asking anyone's permission, from public measurement. That means we sometimes get facts wrong: a product renamed, a category misjudged, a brand confused with a namesake. Claiming a profile lets you fix the facts we hold about you and tells us where to send the next measurement.
What claiming does: corrects factual fields, adds an official contact, marks the profile as verified with a date, gets you a copy of each new measurement of your brand before it is published.
What claiming does not do, ever: change your share of answer, your rank, your quadrant, the prompt panel, or how any of it is worded. A verified profile and an unverified one are scored by the same code. If a claim ever bought a better number, this entire site would be worthless — including to you.
Everything here is already yours
There is no paywall and no sign-up, and there is not going to be one on the
current measurement. Take it: /api/aiv.json,
/api/history.json for the full series,
/aiv.csv, /index.md,
every past measurement as the file it was published as. CC BY 4.0 —
reuse it commercially, build a product on it, quote it in a report. The only thing we ask is
the citation, and that is the entire business model of a public index.
Found an error? That is the message we most want to get. Write to [email protected]; if the panel needs re-running we re-run it, and the correction lands in the archive with its own date. Nobody pays for that.
